If you have car trouble and your warranty is finished, one way to save money is to try and make repairs on your own. I am not the mechanical type, however, there are auto repair guides that can help. I have tried using guides to make repairs that are considered simple, but they are just too technical for me. So, like many others, I rely on my dependable auto repair technician to take care of the dirty work. Yes, I have to pay a premium for the service, however, I can rest comfortably knowing that it was done by an ASE certified professional and the repair is guaranteed.
My mechanic is a female, and I must admit, she is cute, making it pleasurable to get my car fixed. I wanted to chat her up a bit so I asked her why she decided to get into auto repair. She listed several reasons but said the main reason was for the money and job security. She went on to say that the automotive technician salary allowed her to make a good living and the work was interesting. I am tempted to ask her out for coffee but not sure how I should proceed. After she finishes repairing my car, I think I will give it a go… wish me luck!
